Chosen through a resumé review process, A.P. Thomas Construction, Inc. worked with the church’s committee in a design and assist role, which included helping to establish and maintain a project budget. The complicated site, backed up to a major thoroughfare, required 20-foot-tall sheet-pile walls and shoring to stabilize the soil. Once the wall was built and the existing structure was demolished, construction on the parish hall quickly progressed. The 9,900 square foot center features beautiful wood finishes and includes offices, meeting areas, restrooms and a commercial kitchen.
